Mara is an actress based in Los Angeles, CA. Originally hailing from the suburbs of Washington, DC. She holds a BFA in Drama from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with training from the Stella Adler Studio of Acting (NYC) and Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (London).

Mara performs in all mediums - Film, TV and Theatre. She appeared as Young Val in CASUAL on HULU and on season 3 of STARTUP on NETFLIX. You can catch her on stage right now in the World Premiere of MEASURE STILL FOR MEASURE, an immersive play at Boston Court Pasadena running through Oct 15, 2023.

Other notable stage work includes: the titular role in AN OCTOROON  the first Equity production to return in Los Angeles post pandemic at The Fountain Theatre, the West Coast premieres of  THE JUDAS KISS at Boston Court Pasadena & SUCKER PUNCH with Coeurage Theatre Company, a site specific production. She was also in the inaugural Cino Nights in LA, a long standing New York theater tradition.

Along with acting, Mara has ventured behind the camera both directing and producing and has made several shorts that were featured in the festival circuit.

Mara also runs her own business, Your Audition Friend, which provides self tape, coaching, audition and moral support to actors in LA and across the country.
